The Problem

WordPress runs the web.
But it was never built for professional publishers.

01
One post at a time

No pipeline view. No way to see what's in draft, review, scheduled, or published across your sites at a glance. Managing a quarterly magazine means opening, editing, and saving — one post at a time, every time.

02
No import path for real content

If your content lives in Word documents or PDFs — which it does — WordPress has no answer. Copy, paste, reformat, upload images one by one, set the featured image, write the excerpt. Per article. Every quarter.

03
Multi-site is just more tabs

Publishing across multiple WordPress sites means separate logins, separate browser tabs, and zero unified view. Agencies managing ten client sites manage ten separate WordPress dashboards.

04
Print content doesn't work on the web

Magazine articles written for print need restructuring for digital — shorter paragraphs, subheadings, adapted tone. Without AI, that means editorial work per article, on top of the mechanical import work.

05
SEO is an afterthought

No built-in SEO tools. No way to audit your entire site, generate metadata in bulk, or see what's missing. Plugins like Yoast work one post at a time, inside an editor that was never designed for strategic SEO management.

06
Products and content live in separate worlds

WooCommerce products are entirely separate from posts. For publishers featuring advertiser products or editorial picks, managing both in a single workflow is simply impossible inside WordPress.

"I spend two to three days every quarter just getting the magazine content onto the website. Copying from Word, reformatting, uploading images, tagging, scheduling. It's mind-numbing work and it's the reason we're always behind on digital."
— Magazine publisher, quarterly print & digital

WordPress is where your content lives.
Get It Posted is where your content gets managed.

Connect any WordPress site via the standard REST API. Keep your hosting, your theme, your plugins.
GIP handles everything before the publish button.

One Platform, Two Modes

Switch between Publishing and SEO
from a single toggle.

Same codebase. Same WordPress connections. Same data. Different focus — depending on whether you're getting content live or getting it found.

Publishing Pipeline

From raw document
to published post.

  • Visual Kanban pipeline: Draft → Review → Scheduled → Published
  • Scheduling calendar with drag-to-reschedule and auto-publish engine
  • AI social media snippets for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • AI quality checker — spelling, grammar, style, and readability before it goes live
  • Multi-site publishing from one dashboard

Built Features

Everything you need,
nothing you don't.

A comprehensive platform built around real publishing workflows — not theoretical ones.

📰
Magazine-Grade PDF Extraction

Standard PDF tools produce garbled output from multi-column magazine layouts. GIP uses spatial-aware extraction via pdfjs-dist — analysing X/Y coordinates of every text item to read in natural column order. Double-page spreads are detected and processed separately. Ligatures are repaired automatically. Author bylines are parsed. The result is clean, readable text that actually matches the magazine.

Unique capability
🤖
AI Document Splitting

Upload one document containing 15 product listings, 12 recipes, or 20 event entries. GIP uses Claude AI to extract each item as a structured, individual content item — ready to review and publish. Each content type has its own AI splitter prompt, configurable by admins.

AI-powered
🗓
Scheduling Calendar & Auto-Publish

Month-view calendar with drag-to-reschedule. Unscheduled queue on the right — drag items onto dates to assign them. The auto-publish engine fires every 2 minutes and publishes scheduled content automatically, including full image upload and SEO meta push. A circuit breaker skips items that fail 3 times.

🖼
Image Processing Pipeline

Every imported image is processed: resized to max 1920px, converted to WebP at 80% quality, thumbnailed at 400px, EXIF stripped. PDFs can be rendered as print-quality images (300 DPI) for use as featured images or social media assets. Built-in image editor for crop, resize, and before/after comparison.

↕️
Two-Way WordPress Sync

Pull existing WordPress posts back into GIP for editing, SEO enhancement, and republishing. The Previous Content feature pages through the WordPress API so no content is out of reach — even if it predates GIP by years.

🏷
Dynamic Content Types

Posts, Products, and Recipes come pre-configured. Add your own: Event Listings, Staff Profiles, Menu Items, Property Listings — each with custom fields and its own AI splitter prompt. No code required.

No-code
📦
Bulk Export

Export content in HTML, Markdown, JSON, Word (.docx), or WordPress WXR format. Useful for backups, migrations, repurposing content across platforms, or handing off to clients.

📊
Usage Instrumentation

Every AI call, file import, and network request is metered. The Usage dashboard shows exactly what each feature costs — by customer, by feature, by time period. No surprises on the API bill.

Cost-transparent
🔒
Instance-Per-Customer Architecture

Every customer gets their own isolated GIP instance — separate database, filesystem, and process. Complete data isolation by design. No shared multi-tenant risk. Compatible with any WordPress hosting provider.

In Practice

A quarterly magazine issue,
from print to web in a morning.

Workflow — Magazine Issue Import

18 articles. 40+ images. Four categories.

Before GIP: 2–3 days of manual copy-paste, reformatting, image uploading, and scheduling in WordPress.

1
Upload the magazine folder

Drag the entire folder into GIP. It scans and discovers every .docx and .pdf file with their associated images, shows a preview table with article titles, document types, and image counts.

2
Confirm import in one click

GIP extracts text with spatial-aware PDF processing, repairs ligatures, parses author bylines, processes every image (resize, WebP, thumbnail), and auto-assigns categories based on folder names. All articles land in Draft status.

3
Review and adapt with AI

Open each article in the editor. Use AI Rewrite to adapt print content for the web. Generate SEO metadata in one click. Run the quality checker. Images are already inserted — no manual uploading.

4
Schedule via the calendar

Drag articles onto dates in the Calendar view, or use bulk Schedule to assign multiple items at once. The unscheduled queue keeps everything visible until it has a date.

5
Walk away. GIP publishes automatically.

The auto-publish engine fires every 2 minutes. When a scheduled date arrives, GIP publishes to WordPress — images uploaded, categories synced, SEO meta pushed to the GIP Connector. The publish activity log shows every result.

6
Generate social posts

Open any published article and generate platform-specific snippets for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. GIP tracks which articles have had social content generated.

What took 2–3 days now takes 2–3 hours, including editorial review.

How It Compares

The complete picture,
versus everything else.

No single competitor combines what GIP delivers. They solve pieces of the problem. GIP solves all of it.

vs.
Wordable & doc-to-WordPress tools
  • GIP imports Word and PDF — Wordable is Google Docs only
  • Spatial-aware magazine PDF extraction, not garbled plain text
  • AI splits multi-item documents — one doc becomes many posts
  • Full editorial pipeline, not just a one-click export
  • No per-export pricing model
vs.
Yoast, Rank Math & SEO plugins
  • GIP works externally — no WordPress plugin dependency for SEO management
  • Site-wide audit in one view, not one post at a time
  • Bulk AI meta generation — fix 50 posts in the time it takes Yoast to fix one
  • Smart conflict detection — GIP Connector defers to existing SEO plugins
  • Includes the full publishing workflow alongside the SEO tooling
vs.
CoSchedule, PublishPress & editorial plugins
  • GIP handles the full pipeline — import, process, schedule, publish
  • AI does the heavy lifting on content formatting, splitting, and SEO
  • Multi-site, not single-site
  • Standalone application — no WordPress plugin conflicts
  • Two-way: pull from WordPress, not just push to it
vs.
WP Engine Newsroom & enterprise platforms
  • No hosting migration — GIP connects to any WordPress site
  • No enterprise pricing — built for publishers of any size
  • AI-powered document import (enterprise platforms don't offer this)
  • One lightweight plugin — no platform lock-in
  • Up and running in minutes, not months
